This lagged bolt kit anchors a wood newel securely to the floor or framing beneath it, helping create a stable, dependable connection. It draws the newel tightly to the structure and allows the access hole to be concealed afterward, leaving the base with a clean, finished appearance.

•     Size: 3/8" x 10"

•     Included with a 1 1/2" plug, nut and a washer

•     Secures Wood Newels

•     Threads into the floor or framing beneath the newel

How to use:

Position the wood newel and drill a pilot hole through the base into the floor or framing.

Thread the 3/8" x 10" lag bolt through the newel into the framing beneath, then secure it with the included nut and washer.

Cover the access hole with the 1 1/2" wood plug for a clean, finished base.
