Collection: Treads

Stair Treads come in different lengths and widths. 11.5in treads are usually used when a step is "enclosed" (between walls on both sides). 13in treads are used when at least one side is "open", the extra width gives it size to create a side "ear". 13in treads are far superior to "miter return" treads and we are one of the few companies to offer 13in treads. 24in and 30in widths are used on curved stairs (these widths give you size to cut out pie shaped treads). One 30x60 usually gives you enough size to make 2 pie shaped treads (on most curved stairs, check your measurements before ordering).

Our treads are 100% real wood, they will all have different characteristics, no two will look exactly alike (which is common when dealing with real wood over LVP).

Although we offer most species of hardwood, Red Oak and White Oak are what is used on the vast majority of stairs. If you're looking for another species, please call for prices.
