About the Flex MDF Baseboard

This flexible baseboard is made to follow curves that a rigid board can't, such as the inside of a rounded wall, a curved stair base, or a sweeping transition, while still matching the look of standard trim. It bends to the radius you need and, once installed and painted, finishes like ordinary baseboard, so a curved run looks continuous instead of pieced together from short, faceted cuts.

It saves the time and waste of trying to kerf or segment a stiff board around a curve, and it keeps the profile consistent where the flexible run meets the straight baseboard on either side. Once it's fastened to the wall and finished, it reads as a single, continuous piece of trim, so a curved foyer wall or the rounded base of a staircase looks deliberate and built-in rather than improvised.
